Aayushi Dholakia, a vibrant and ambitious youngster from the cultural heart of Vadodara, Gujarat, embodies a unique blend of dedication, enthusiasm, and optimism. A Media and Communications graduate, Aayushi seamlessly juggles the roles of actress, model, and content creator. In 2019, she made history by becoming the first Asian to win the Miss Teen International title.
With a strong foundation in Kathak and a past as a national-level handball player, Aayushi’s talents span a broad spectrum. Guided by the principles of Patience, Persistence, and Perseverance, she actively engages with organisations focused on women’s health, child welfare, and environmental conservation. The most influential person in your life: My mother is the most influential person in my life. She has been the wind beneath my dreams, introducing me to dancing and beauty pageants. I deeply admire her ability to balance her personal and professional life, and I’m inspired by her u dedication to fitness and passion, which motivates me to pursue my own dreams.
The proudest moment of your life: Representing my country on a global stage at 16 is the proudest moment of my life! Wearing the Indian sash across my chest was an unparalleled feeling, and it was an immense honour to carry forward our nation’s diverse traditions and cultures, representing 1.4 billion people.

The beauty queen who inspires you the most and why?: The beauty queen who inspires me the most is Sushmita Sen. Her resilience and commitment are truly admirable. What I love most about her is that she lives by her words—everything she believes in, she actively contributes towards. Having had the chance to speak with her makes her even more special to me.
What does Femina Miss India mean to you?: Femina Miss India is more than just a title—it’s a platform that amplifies the voices and dreams of young women across the country. It represents the power of determination and pursuing one’s true potential. As someone who has always strived to bring positive change and glory to my country, Femina Miss India is a journey that fuels my passion for empowerment and my commitment to making a positive impact. It’s not just about the crown; it’s about the legacy and change that I hope to leave behind.
A social cause close to your heart and why: A social cause close to my heart is empowering young children and providing them opportunities to grow. At the age of 15, I started my non-profit, and we worked on various causes, from spending time with the elderly and promoting menstrual health to children’s education and environmental conservation. Our salvation drives over the years have gone beyond donating essential items. They focus on training young minds, helping them upgrade their skills, and becoming the assets our country needs. As a woman with a vision, I believe in teaching what I learn and giving back what I receive.
What is the craziest rumour you have ever heard about yourself? The craziest rumour I’ve heard about myself is that I’m on a diet 365 days a year! While it’s true that as a fitness enthusiast, I prioritize healthy eating, I indulge in my favourite cheesecakes and pizzas from time to time. After all, life is about balance and enjoying the little things that make us happy!

What are your expectations from Femina Miss India 2024?: My expectations from Femina Miss India 2024 go beyond just winning a title. This platform will fuel my passion and serve as a launchpad for my future career prospects as an actor and model. More importantly, it will be a testament to my state and community, who have contributed, shared, and lived this dream with me. Femina Miss India is an opportunity to amplify my voice, represent the values and spirit of those who have supported me on this journey, and make the most out of the chance to represent my country at Miss World.
If you win Miss India, what would be your first big splurge?: If I win Miss India, my first big splurge would be a visit to my dream destination, where I’d indulge in trying every culinary delight the city has to offer! Nevertheless, I’d also invest in a project that gives back to my city and state, ensuring that my success can positively impact the community that has supported me throughout my journey.
If you were granted one wish, what would you ask for? I would ask for a world where women feel safe and secure without having to protest for the most basic and fundamental right of safety. In light of recent tragic events, every woman must be able to live without fear and feel secure in her surroundings.
What would be your advice for the future generation?: My advice for the coming generation is to cultivate gratitude. In a world where instant gratification and digital influence are ever-present, living in the moment and finding joy in the small things is essential. Appreciate what you have, cherish the simple pleasures, and focus on leading a life filled with purpose and meaning because gratitude opens the door to a more fulfilling and enjoyable life.
